My base pack weight without food and water is right at 20lbs, which is a tad heavier than what I was going for, but the pack feels good. Would welcome any suggestions or comments!

  1. Ames, with all the snow and ice lately, am wondering if you may need to get the metal teeth (can’t remember right now what they’re called) to strap on to your boots to keep you from slipping and sliding.
